This is without a doubt the best dinner we have ever had in Cyprus. We got the Meze - a serving of something like 20 small dishes with all the best Cyprus have to offer, prepared in the best possible way. The location is amazing, the staff is very kind - all in all a pure 5 star experience. Highly recommended.

Unplanned visit to Retro tavern finished nicely. We were only guests before closing and staff offered us a table so quickly, also our Musaka’s were on table in just 10 minutes. Atmosphere and Service is 5/5 and Musaka 4/5. Definitely recommend to visit!

You must visit this place, (reservation must) one of the most delicious meals I ever had and service much more than excellent, I really recommend it, we had the sausage 2x spice and regular, the vegetarian meal was so much delicious, and the lamb chops... The salad was also tasty and good , definitely coming back to this place.

The best food we have been eating in Cyprus. It deserve a Michelin star due to the food and service! The best halloumi and local sausages as starters and a stifado from another world as a main course. If you are nearby, try this place!

Absolutely amazing experience in Cyprus! The food was exceptional—everything I tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Cozy, family tavern with excellent cuisine and wonderful staff. Local cuisine will not leave you indifferent; everyone will find something tasty for themselves. A glass of homemade Cypriot wine is the perfect end to dinner in this cozy tavern. I want to come back here again and again.I would especially like to thank Chef Roberto for the delicious food and the owner of the "Retro tavern" Kyriacosa for his attention to the guests and service. Also, thanks to all the employees of this tavern.

We just had a great experience here. We took the meze and meat dish, which actually means that one will get everything on the menu expect the fish. So be prepared for lots of delicious food :) some dishes were better than others (you should take the sausages and halloumi with lemon jam), but that’s also a matter of taste. Staff was really nice and friendly.Take your time to also walk around through the beautiful town.
